STRIJK BROTHERS

Two of the three Strijk brothers, born and raised in Hazerswoude-Rd in the Nethelands. From a young age they did a lot of difent sports; waterpolo, judo, tennis, gymnastics, atletics, speed skating and competition swimming.

Sitting still wasn’t their specialty, they loved all kinds of sport. In the youth and juniors they won several national triathlon and duathlon titles, racing junior european and world championships. They focused on the olympic distance races for a couple of years, racing ITU races.

Erik-Simon made the stap to the longer distance races and found his talent, finishing 4th at his firts dutch championships Ironman 70.3 and 2th in his fist Ironman distance race. In the last seasons Sven followed his brother, with his strong bike he showed also his talent is on the longer distance races, finish 4th place at Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg.

They have been in di􀂿erent team for many years, but last year they have goin there forces and started the ‘Strijk Brothers Tri Team’. With great results, Sven won a lot of half distance triathlons and became Dutch Campion half triathlon. Erik-Simon finished the season with a good result and became Dutch Champion full triathlon.
